Oh So Beautiful Paper

"As seen on" Martha Stewart Weddings- The Brides Guide Blog

Are you a bride who has budget on the brain? You're not the only one—especially these days! Here, up and coming NYC planner
Courtney Kern dishes her best budget tips:
1.This one's simple—plan ahead! You can save so much time and money by shopping the sales and ordering online in bulk.

2. If you can't afford a big reception, invite only the people who are closest to you—your bridal party, immediate family, and best friends. If you want to include more people on a limited budget, see if your site will give you 1 or 2 extra hours. That way, you can invite all your friends for signature cocktails, desserts, and dancing after the regular reception has wound down.

Check out what I had to say on Christine Dyer's blog founder of Bridal Tweet:

“I am also a huge advocate of being friends with your competition,”

“I am not saying that you should share your deepest business secrets, business model, price structure, etc. But there is enough business to go around and every vendor has something to offer their clients. I was just with a baker friend of mine last week who I interviewed. She told me that Ron Ben-Israel and Mark Joseph trained her in many areas, yet they are supposed to be her competition. Nonetheless, they teach others to uphold the standards within the industry and help educate up-and-coming bakers.”

When I first met Courtney at an industry convention, I knew she was a keeper. Totally eager, professional and on top of her game, Courtney's experience with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has given her a clear edge on the competition. She has been exposed to the best and it shows. If you're looking for someone to knock your event out of the park, you've got your girl. Want to chat specifics? Have Courtney give you my cell number and I'll tell you live what a rock star she truly is.
